Michael Toglia
Cincinnati Reds
A Gig Harbor High School product and switch-hitting first baseman with elite raw power from both sides of the plate. After being drafted by Colorado out of high school in 2016 and returning to school, Toglia was taken 23rd overall in the 2019 MLB Draft out of UCLA. He made his MLB debut on August 30, 2022, and has gone on to hit 42 home runs across 280 big-league games.
Owen Wild
Tampa Bay Rays
Gonzaga U.
Selected by the Rays 213th overall out of Gonzaga in 2023, Wild has been one of the more impressive arms in the Tampa Bay system. Through three minor league seasons he owns a 3.68 ERA with 249 strikeouts in 227 innings, reaching Double-A with the Montgomery Biscuits in 2025. He continues to give back to the Narrows community through coaching.
Chad Stevens
Colorado Rockies
U. of Portland
A Gig Harbor High School product who went on to star at the University of Portland, Stevens was drafted by the Houston Astros in the 11th round of the 2021 MLB Draft. He made his major league debut with the Los Angeles Angels on July 3, 2025.
Shane Matheny
San Francisco Giants
Washington State U.
Born in Bremerton, Matheny spent a decade in professional baseball as a versatile defender capable of playing third base, second base, and center field. Drafted by the Giants out of Washington State in 2017, he played 578 minor league games through Triple-A across multiple organizations.
Scott Schultz
Arizona Diamondbacks
Oregon State U.
A Gig Harbor High School and Oregon State product, Schultz went 12-4 with a 2.45 ERA for the Beavers before the Diamondbacks selected him 300th overall in the 2014 MLB Draft. He played two seasons in Arizona's minor league system.
James Bonnici
Seattle Mariners org.
A first baseman and catcher who spent nine professional seasons climbing from rookie ball to Triple-A with the Tacoma Rainiers, including two seasons with the Orix Blue Wave in Japan. Bonnici transitioned to scouting and now serves as an MLB Scout for the Tampa Bay Rays, where he is credited with signing Mike Brosseau as a non-drafted free agent in 2016.
Jon Fuller

Bellevue College
A Gig Harbor native who played 12 professional seasons as a catcher through the Cincinnati Reds organization and independent leagues, posting a .330 average in his best professional campaign. Fuller went on to found the Gig Harbor Baseball and Sports Academy — the organization that became Narrows Baseball Club.
Lucas Knowles
Los Angeles Angels org.
U. of Washington
A left-handed pitcher out of Bremerton who developed at the University of Washington before the Washington Nationals drafted him in the 14th round of the 2019 MLB Draft. Knowles has advanced through Double-A and Triple-A and is currently active in the Angels organization.
